have i found my calling?

we had a plea bargaining exercise today in law, politics, and society today.

we divided into teams of prosecutors and defense attorneys to decide on a plea deal for a hypothetical case involving kidnapping, robbery, and murder (among other things).

one group decided on about 11 years imprisonment.

one group settled for 9.

one group decided on 8.

i was one of the prosecutors for the fourth group. we decided on 35.5 years imprisonment.

am i destined to be a prosecuting attorney? ...i feel dirty.
